Lullaby for Wyatt
When searching websites for boy names, I was very curious about popularity over the years as well as if any person's reputation with the name could make me love or hate the name. So here is what we found on Wyatt.
Probably the most famous person with this name was Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp, a American Sheriff in the Western frontier towns in the late 1800's. Other than being a big time cowboy, that's as much as I need to know about him. {Jake swears that he is super cool...}
The next finding was a little more current with the TV show Charmed. The firstborn son of one of the witches was named Wyatt.
The final piece of information we found on Wyatt is hands down my favorite. Its a song Sheryl Crow wrote for her adopted son, Wyatt. Its called Lullaby for Wyatt, and pulls on the strings of a mother's heart. With the reality that he is not mine forever but my little Wyatt is mine for a time. During this time I will do my best to teach, reprove and love on him. Just as Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it."
I love how this song conveys this message, although its not a Christian song. I can see it now, rocking my sweet boy to sleep, singing this song to him.
Below is the link so you can hear the sweet song...

Just looking at this now, Wyatt is Danny's middle name! How weird is that?
